Human Rights Agenda[HURIA] through Jamii Thabiti held a community awareness raising forum with Mtwapa Boda Boda operators in efforts of improving Community Security in Kilifi County. This activity was conducted in partnership with National Police Service Commission, Kenya and Pamoja Trust for Transformation (a Jamii Thabiti VAWG Partner). ... Discussions during the forum was geared towards most lodged problems against Boda Boda operators in Violence Against Women and Girls Mitigation, Security and Road safety, Empowerment opportunities for Boda Boda operators, operationalization and sustainability of a SACCO.

  In efforts to Improve Community Security in Msambweni, Human Rights Agenda[HURIA] through Jamii Thabiti held a meeting with the OCS and area Chiefs to plan for the Formation of CPFs and CPCs in line with the New Community Policing Guidelines. HURIA discussed among other things their roles and responsibilities in ensuring reduced crime in the area.
